What is the LSC?

The Kinetic Academy Local Site Council was established as part of our charter with the idea of providing the Board with a leadership team that represents our primary stakeholders – parents, teachers and community – in the oversight of the school campus. Our focus is to ensure that parents and teachers are regularly consulted about the educational program and operations of the school and have the ability to participate actively in the governance of the school. Community members round out the team by bringing added viewpoints from outside the organization. The Local Site Council’s actions are advisory to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
